Giant sales and not sales!

There are certain things I will buy even if they aren't on sale.  We love Stonyfield products! My husband and I love their milk and after drinking it I refuse to go back to regular milk!  The same with their yogurts for us and Marlee.  Mar loves loves loves YoBaby and I have never seen it on sale!  Well Stonyfield.com has coupons that are printable!  And Giant doubles coupons up to $1!  So I am always printing their YoBaby, yogurt and milk coupons.

The YoBaby regular yogurt is listed for $2.39 at Giant and with the $1 off it comes to $1.39 and 3 weeks ago Giant had a coupon insert in the Reading Eagle with a $1 off YoBaby.  So you can use both and get it for $.39.  YoBaby Meals which are also a hit, Peach & Squash especially, retails for $2.59 so you can get it for $1.59 or $.59.

The container of Stonyfield yogurt retails for $2.39 (I think, oops can't remember) and with the coupon that doubles it can be $1.39.  Much cheaper then buying single small containers of yogurt!

Now the milk is onsale this week at Giant for $3.49 and you can use a coupon.  Also, I have found that when you buy 2 at a time Giant prints out a coupon for $1.50 off 2 for your next purchase.

This week Giant also has pasta 10/$10.  Ronzoni and San Giorgio Quick Cook.  I believe 3 weeks ago there was a coupon for $1 off Ronzoni Healthy Harvest.  This makes it FREE!  I am not sure when, but there was a $.55 San Giorgio Quick Cook pasta.  And since Giant doubles up to $1 that make its FREE!  (I did buy it but we ate it already so no pic!  It is really good!)

Mayo is one of those things that I am picky about.  Most generics have a funky after taste.  We prefer Kraft!  So this week Giant has a Bonus Buy Savings price of 2/$5.  I had a $1 off coupon making it $1.50.  Not free but wayyy better then full price!

Discount Websites

There are some awesome websites with great products at great prices!

One I have bought from numerous times is nomorerack.com.  My most recent purchase was flower flip flops for me and French Connection Cologne for my husband for fathers day and I paid $12 including shipping!  Now granted I had credits but the credits were ones that the website them self had given out over time!

If you aren't already a member here is a link to sign up

Happy Shopping!

Brand name cosmetics at a discount!

One thing I will pay full price for is cosmetics, especially the good ones!

So I recently discovered The Cosmetic Company Store and I am in LOVE!

Clinque, MAC, Bobbi Brown, I could go on and on and great prices!

This place is like a secret, they have no website!  But there are 2 within 20 mins of me, how awesome!

I went in on the hunt for a new cream to powder foundation!  I had been using Urban Decay but had heard great things about MACs cream to powder.  So I did some research on what MAC color is comparable to the Urban Decay I had been using and headed to the outlets!

The guy working was very helpful they didn't have the MAC cream to powder out on the floor, I was so upset.  But I told him the color I was looking for and they had one in the back!  Perfect!  The retail price $32.50!  The price I paid $22.50!

I highly suggest you find out if you have one in your area and head on over!

For my local friends....Giant sale! And a products Rave!

Every saturday (used to be sunday but now that I get the paper delievered I get the inserts saturday) I scope out the ads and new coupons!

This week there was a coupon for $1 off Baileys Coffee Creamer.  Bonus Buy Savings this week at Giant have it on sale for $1.49.  With $1 off makes it $.49!  Caramel one is soooo good!

This week there was also a coupon for $1 off Breakstone Zesty Blend Sour Cream, which is a new product!  They were onsale for 3/$4 and part of the buy so many get so many gas points.  So I had one coupon and I asked my MIL for hers.  With my $1 off coupons they came to $.33 a piece.  I got Garlic and Herb and Chiptole!  They are also so good!  Mix them in with pasta for something different!

What's one more nail polish?!

So in the post below about the John Frieda products I lied!  They were $4.99 at Rite Aid not $5!

Rite Aid has great clearance!  Alot of times it is 75% off!  When I had been in the day before buying the body wash I noticed alot of Revlon nail polishes with the yellow clearance tags and being as crazy as I am I knew I had a $1 off Revlon nail polish coupon!

So when I went to buy the shampoo and conditioner I grabbed a bottle.  I don't remember the original price but with the 75% off, $1 off coupon and $.04 overage from the shampoo and conditioner I paid $.15 for it!

Cheap Pampers!

I used to say I would put my baby in generic diapers, well that was before I had a baby.  I have eaten my words alot since becoming a mom!  We are a Pampers only family!

I had $10 UP Rewards from buying all the body wash and deodorant and they were about to expire next week when we are on vacation so I needed to use them this week!

A box of 80 Pampers Cruiser were on sale for $19.88.  I ended up paying $5.38.  I had the $10 UP Rewards, a Rite Aid $3 off $15 (make sure to do the surveys on the receipt!) and a $1.50 Pampers coupon!  That makes it less then $.07 a diaper!

Cards and Juice!

Last month Giant was offering a special on Hallmark cards.  Buy 3 get $5 off your next order coupon.  So I did this about 4 times buying $.99 and $.49 cards, total money maker!  Well they started offering the same thing again but it was off the same order instantly.  In the ad it stated no $.99 cards so I figured  no biggie they have $1.29 cards I will get 3 for Father's Day and still make money off of it.  Well we get to the card section and every single sign they had about the $5 off instantly had nothing stating no $.99 cards.  No restrictions listed I am buying them!  So I get 3 and knowing it will be less then the $5 off I grabbed Motts for Tots for Mar's let's keep the baby unclogged bottles and headed to the register.  The girl ran the 3 cards up and the juice total $5.82 she procedes to tell me it doesn't include $.99 cards.  So I pay the $5.82 and head to customer service and explain the signs had no limits on the price per card.  So she was very nice about it, love nice customer service people, and she gives me back $5.30.  Sweeeet!  So the total for the 3 cards and juice was $.52!

Soda Savings!

I hate to admit but we go through alot of soda in this house.  So when we find a good deal on it we buy it up.  And I have also found that soda coupons are hard to come by!

So when I got the CVS ad this week I saw they had coke 12 packs 5 for $13 and knew I had $3 ECBs to spend!  I also saw that CVS had Hershey's Bliss chocolates on sale for $5.99 and you get $5.99 ECBs and I also had a $1 off coupon.  So I did one transaction and bought the Hershey's Bliss for $4.99 and one Hershey's airated chocolate bar since I had a free coupon and got the $5.99 ECBs.  I used the $3 ECBs and the $5.99 ECBs towards the soda.  After the ECBS my total came to $4.25.  Can't beat that!

Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and deodorant...O my!

I have learned that getting body products for next to nothing is much easier then getting groceries for next to nothing, unless all you eat is processed packaged foods!

So here is how I got $200 worth of products for less then $15.

Friday I went to Rite Aid.  They had Gillette and Old Spice Body Wash and deodorant for 2/$7 and if you bought $30 worth of these or other specified products you got $10 UP Rewards!  I love me some UP Rewards!  So I hit up my coupon folder and I had a TON of Gillette and Old Spice Coupons!

I got:
3 Gillette Body Washes
2 Old Spice Body Washes
4 Gillette Deodorants
2 Candy Bars
2 packs of gum
Total-$13.94 plus $10 UP Rewards

How I did it.  I had 3 $2 of Gillette Coupons, 2 Bogo free Gillette Body Wash Coupon and one Bogo free Old Spice coupons.  1 Bogo free coupon candy bar, which were on sale for $.50 and one $1.00 off 2 packs of Orbit gum which were $.77 on sale.  I also had a Rite Coupon for $3 off $15.

And then Saturday I went to 2 CVS's and one Rite Aid.  I had bought 20 $5 off John Frieda Full repair coupons.  My original plan was to buy them at Target and get gift cards but that didn't work, I think too many people had the same idea I did.  Well CVS and Rite both had the John Frieda Shampoo, Conditioner and Root life on sale for $5.  So at CVS I used CVS reward card and got 16 bottles of the stuff and made paid $0! And got $6 ECB!  I also went to Rite Aid and got 4 bottles because they had them on sale and a Single Check Rebate.  Granted I did buy the coupons for $10.50 but I made $16 buying the product and not to mention all the products I got!

I am now paying my mom in Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash since she won't take anything for watching Mar!

Intro!

Hi all!  Hopefully this blog goes better then my last blogging attempts!

I have, over the past few months, started couponing and doing whatever I can to save extra money!  Since Marlee was born I went part time and we lost half my salary, so I try to do whatever I can to save a buck.  Heck I will do whatever to save a penny!  Every penny counts!!

So this blog will just be me documenting things I buy and ways I save money!  I will list the coupons and match ups I use.

Happy Money savings!
